  Bomtown Spellin Bee Aprul 20-21
Sine up for the 20th Annyoual Boomtwn Speling Bee by March 6th. Competision fur six age groops!
  Left Foot Island: Pirate Camp Out
Aaarg! Wear your pirate costume and search for buried treasure with your friends! Overnight Fri/Sat. Apr. 24-25
  Drama Tryouts
Auditions for this year's production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" are being held every day after school, 3-4pm, until Mar. 4th. Parents! We need donations of chocolate - lots of it! See Mrs. Sippy for more info.
  4th of July Float
The 7th and 8th Grade 4th of July float called "Rocket's Red Glare" is moving along nicely. Students continue to meet on Saturday's until all work is completed (or the float goes up in flames).
  Debate Team Postponed
The Debate Team was scheduled to start on Mar. 2nd, but is on temporary hold. The team leaders are still arguing about the best place to meet.
  Steam Car Races
The Boomtown Museum is sponsoring a double-elimination "Race Off" starting next week. Sign up in the Museum main lobby.
  Band Practice Cancelled
Practice for the Longest Day Musical Marathon is cancelled this week due to illness. Band practice will resume regular schedule next Monday, 6pm, at the Boomtown Museum.
  Walk-A-Thon Pledges Due
The Walk-A-Thon around Boomtown goes on Mar. 21. Pledge sheets need to be turned in to Mrs. Patty Wagon by Mar. 7, by end of school day.
